A visit has been scheduled to the Experimental
Field Palmar de La Vizcaina of Cenipalma, located in Barrancabermeja
(Santander). The aim of the visit is to have a first line
impression of the different experiments being carried out
on genetic material, breading of Colombian varieties and
materials introduced from Malaysia and Angola, and biological
control, among many other aspects. There is a possibility
to visit a plantation of the same area to learn about cultivation
problems, their management and the operation of a milling
plant.
Visit Cost:

The cost includes:
- Air Ticket (Bogotá – Barrancabermeja –
Bogotá)
Flight living at outs 7 a.m. (Monday, September 18th) and
coming back to Cartagena at 4 p.m. (Tuesday, September 19th)
- Housing in the night in San Alberto or in San Martin (Cesar)
(September 18th)
- Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks.
- Local transportation (Visit plantation)
